Envision Edmonton City Center Airport Redevelopment Plans
I took a little time to visit the public open forum held at Hanger 39 tonight, sadly some things came up and I had to leave early. I won't take any time to state the issues or what folks said, but I thought people who missed it would like to see the follow THREE documents provided. Enjoy. :)

ReplyDeleteThe purpose of new transportations hubs is to move the maximum number of people possible. The critical mass for such expansion must involve bringing people to the hub, not simply moving people through it. The only difference in traffic I see
is a handful of flight school pilots, tired shoppers and yes NAIT students enjoy the view.
Who exactly will be paying for all this? Why is there a new passenger terminal when 77% of Edmontonians voted to move ALL scheduled traffic to EIA? Why would Greyhound move to YXD, their passengers are using a bus to travel and have no use for an airport and vice versa?
ReplyDeleteThis new drawing isn't worth the paper it is written on, nothing new here but the Envision Edmonton name, did the AEG name not work out for you lol. 1960's thinking from a useless elite group that is only thinking of themselves. Pathetic......
